The work was produced in Norway. The residence for artists in Bodø is located not far from a military base and a passenger airport. Noise of airplanes flying above the house in contrast with a peaceful lawn in front of it made a deep impression and made me think about sound. Sound amplitude on the diagram draws something like a landscape which reflects a clash of sky and earth - thus we may see the sound. We cannot see the essence of the sky, just the atmospheric layers, which we name 'sky' and find to be blue. We cannot hear the sky. And a plane is a cause of a sound. Without a plane the sky is voiceless just like a horn before a man takes it in his hands.
