Monumental 2019 video/performance
The word «monumental» means commemorative or «serving to assist the memory». Sovetic art for public spaces – murals, sgraffitos, mosaics and so on have a quality of memory nowadays. Incalculable, captionless, muted, they are an undercurrent of our lives. The work was exhibited during the Negotiators, XIII Krasnoyarsk Museum Biennale, Krasnoyarsk.Thanks to Alexander Trifonov
