A collective video-performance

The collective is gathered in order to find out whether it is possible to actually become a collective.

Each artist (there are 9 of them in the piece) made his / her video recording, in which he / she had been drinking alcohol by oneself in front of a camera for a given period of time.

By the end of every 10-th minute, however, one of the participants was supposed to give a toast. The order of speaking had been drawn beforehand, and since the feast was essentially a solitary performance each speech was addressed to the imaginary, not present community.

On the 14th of February participants presented their video documentations within actual feast-like setting in the gallery, thus reversing the established structure: performance -> documentation to documentation -> performance.
